Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg extra wide egg noodles/or steamed rice
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 2 cans beef broth
  • 2 cans of beef consomme
  • 5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • round steak, cut into small cubes or strips

  1. Coat round steak in 2 tbsp of flour.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil and add meat.
  3. Once meat is browned, add tomato soup, beef broth, beef bouillon and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and bring to a boil.
  4. Cover and let simmer for 1-2 hours.
  5. Serve over top of cooked egg noodles or steamed rice.

  1. I've never heard of Stroganoff being made like this before. I make it with cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, fresh mushrooms and ground beef, etc. I might have to try it your way sometime.
